A person is born with a self-centered perspective. Their perspective is shaped by their genetics and their environment.
From a self-centered perspective, at times, a person will act out of self-interest without regard to how this impacts other people. Depending on the severity of the impact, these acts are labeled ‘evil’ to various degrees by the culture.
As a person matures, they begin to see that there are many perspectives.
Perspectives can have serious and violent conflicts. To resolve conflicting perspectives, we look for a higher, unifying perspective that can resolve conflicts.
At times, a person from a perspective may view another perspective as ‘evil’. They may not understand that perspective. Perhaps there are irreconcilable perspectives. Perhaps irreconcilable perspectives means that both perspectives require change.
